Blakey did it!
For the longest time our little Blaker was so content to be right where he was with whatever toys were in reach. If he got bored, he'd just watch his brother scoot around the room.
Then he started getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. This rocking motion made him scoot backwards and he would often end up in unexpected places. But even then he would just look around and find the nearest toy to chew on.
Then one morning, with a little encouragement from Mom and Dad, Blake decided he wanted to join the world of intentional movers. Blake is officially crawling! (This was Jan. 20, I'm just a little late announcing it.)
He skipped the whole army crawling thing and went straight for the full hand-over-hand-bum-wiggling crawling! It has got to be my favorite thing to watch. He is so very happy enjoying his new-found freedom. Good job Blakey!
