This morning we went to the park by our house because the boys are big enough to climb up and go down the slide and it was cloudy so the slide wouldn't be super hot. They both got distracted by a dog and couldn't be persuaded to do anything but point and say, "ooooo" with their little cheerio mouths.
So I decided we needed to go to the little farm at thanksgiving point so I could give the boys what they were really interested in: Animals! After their nap and a very aggravating lunch we got loaded up for the farm! (I'm trying to teach the boys how to NOT throw their food, they both ended up in quick little time-outs in their cribs. But you better believe that now they know I'm serious when I clap my hands and tell them to not throw ;)
The boys squealed and jumped and said "oooooo" at all the animals. The only one that scared them was the demanding goose when we ran out of food to feed it. It squawked and and moved it's head sharply and Caden did the pouty face cry. (The snappy goose probably reminded him of his mean mommy at lunch time.)
Anyway, we had a lot of fun and luckily Grandma Sharon was in Lehi at the time and she came and helped coral the boys once we let them walk around. It was a cute place and we made a memory. Life can be so sweet sometimes...

After a dinner of black beans I had the privilege of scrubbing these two little boys down and getting them ready for bed. What a great day!
