Finally in our new place

Wow! Moving is quite the ordeal. I feel bad for Nate because stress brings out the worst in me, but he has dealt with me like a champ (as usual) and we are finally in! Sure, there are cardboard boxes everywhere and our furniture is not all assembled, but hey, I feel like it's all down hill from here. I only have about an hour a day to dedicate to unpacking and Nate is lucky if he has that much time. He studies hard and works even harder. I guess I should have waited to take on a second job... But I love our new place, it already feels like home.

As for my second job, it is with Nate's company as an executive assitant to his boss. I just figured if Nate was going to be busy 10 to 12 hours a day with all his stuff there was no reason to be coming home at 3:30 after my presentations were done. I have really enjoyed it, except for the company Christmas party I helped organize on the same day as we moved! I mostly do odd jobs like taking deposits into the bank, learning the phone systems, taking things to the post office, etc. I feel productive when I'm running errands so it isn't usually a stressful job.

Nate is doing really well. He is loaded down with school and work as usual. He will get on a problem at work and stay way past when he is supposed to just to try and figure it out. I think his competitive drive makes him feel like he wants to beat the problem and come home the conquerer instead of the defeated. Whatever the reason, it makes him really valuable to the company and they will be hurting if they can't afford to keep him after graduation. I don't konw how I got so lucky to marry someone who is so fun and laid back, yet so hard working. I guess that's all for tonight, ciao for now!
